BACK TO TRUSTEES
Caroline Lee joined the Town Foundation Board of Trustees in January 2013. She is Education Coordinator at Club Partner One17 Design and has vast experience in working with youngsters through her background as a teacher, both at primary and secondary school level in Kirklees; she spent five years teaching Physics at Shelley High School and a further four years teaching year six pupils in Brockholes.
She is also a trustee of One17’s own charitable trust, as well as a Governor at Honley High School and author of a series of ‘Caring for Kids’ parenting books published by Kid Premiership.
“As a partner of Huddersfield Town, we were aware that the Foundation was launching the breakfast clubs and I volunteered to help out given my background in education,” Caroline explained.
“I was happy to get involved and delighted when Dean asked me to join the Foundation as a trustee.
“I believe that Huddersfield Town has real power to do fantastic things within the Kirklees community through the Foundation. The Club has such a high profile and that gives us the opportunity to do a lot of good in the area.
“It’s cool for kids to be involved with the football club and that means we can make a big difference, as they will want to get involved with us.”
