One lucky Huddersfield Town fan enjoyed a double celebration when he was handed the keys to the Town Foundation Mini on Saturday after his ticket was drawn during half-time’s big giveaway!

Andy Needham, who last week bought 200 tickets for his firm Stockleys Sweets, made his way to pitch-side after his ticket was drawn at random by Huddersfield Town Chairman Dean Hoyle.

The tickets had been on sale throughout the course of the 2012/13 campaign, but the Foundation’s sellers experienced huge demand for tickets ahead of Saturday’s 12.45pm kick-off – forcing Foundation Trustee Stuart Bragan to grab a clipboard and help out with selling!

The Foundation’s Corporate Fundraising Officer Mandy Taylor commented:

“On behalf of the Foundation, I would like to thank every individual that bought a ticket for the Mini prize draw; the support from fans has been phenomenal.

“The financial backing the charity has received through this draw has gone a long way towards helping us deliver the ‘Early Kick-Off’ breakfast club initiative across nine schools in our region.

“It was great to see one of our worthy supporters, Andy, win the Mini on match day – congratulations to him!”
