Kirkheaton Primary School was presented with a range of brand-new PE equipment by two of Huddersfield Town’s First Team squad on Wednesday morning.

Jonas Lössl & Erik Durm visited the school to present them with the kit as part of the Premier League Primary Stars project, headed up by the Town Foundation in the local area.

The students then had the chance to ask the players any questions and have their photo taken before heading outside to play sport with Jonas & Erik.

Kirkheaton was the first school to sign up for the Town Foundation’s delivery of the Premier League Primary Stars Project and secured themselves the free kit as a result.

With access to equipment and resources, Primary Stars is an initiative pioneered by the Premier League that aims to inspire children to be active and develop important life skills.

The School also benefit from the delivery of after-school and lunchtime coaching sessions delivered by the Town Foundation.
