26 Jan TOWN FOUNDATION ANNOUNCES 2022/23 DEGREE PROGRAMME DETAILS!
Are you passionate about a career in the football industry? If so, come and study for a Foundation level degree with the Huddersfield Town Foundation in 2022/23!
As was the case this year, the Town Foundation will deliver two Foundation-level degree programmes – one in Community Football Coaching and Development and the other in Sports Coaching and Development.
Students develop the necessary skills, qualities and characteristics that are required to work within professional football club community departments or national governing bodies.
Delivered in partnership with the University of South Wales, all lectures, seminars and tutorials are delivered in the Huddersfield Town Community Hub at the John Smith’s Stadium via online material.
Alongside the academic element of the courses, students will complete up to 200 hours of voluntary coaching within the Town Foundation’s community programmes.
This allows students to embed and develop the coaching techniques learnt within lectures and will see you work with people from a range of backgrounds of all ages.
Through the Town Foundation’s partnership with the University of South Wales, all students will be enrolled as a student at the university.
This comes with access to the university’s online library, blackboard and learning materials, in addition to visiting their state-of-the-art facilities in Pontypridd on several residentials.
Upon completion of the two-year programme, students have the option to complete a further year of study to convert their qualification into a full BSc honours degree.
2022/23 course costs are yet to be confirmed, but students can apply for student finance to cover this.
To register your interest in either course (or both if you’re undecided), please contact Education Mentor Adam Halliday via email: adam.halliday@htafcfoundation.com or mobile: 07741 617062 in the first instance.
From there, Adam can provide further guidance on the application process and how the programme operates at Town.
