12 Apr MATCH-WORN SHIRTS FROM LUTON WIN NOW UP FOR AUCTION!

You can now bid on Huddersfield Town’s match-worn shirts from last night’s fantastic Sky Bet Championship victory over Luton Town at www.matchwornshirt.com!

Proceeds from the auction will go the Huddersfield Town Foundation, the Club’s official charity that celebrates it 10-year anniversary in 2022.

In particular, the money will be used to support its Breakfast Club programme which helps children start their day the right way at 41 local schools.

The Terriers were 2-0 victors at the John Smith’s Stadium, with Jon Russell opening the scoring just before the hour with a superb lob before substitute Naby Sarr confirmed victory a minute from time.

The shirts worn bear the Town Foundation logo, which was updated at the start of 2022, between the Umbro logo and Club Crest, making them unique to other shirts from the 2021/22 season.

Each one has been signed by their respective player and using unique UV-C technology, Match Worn are able to remove bacteria and DNA from the shirts whilst guaranteeing the conservation of grass stains, mud etc.

In total, 18 shirts are available to bid on – one from each member of the match day squad.

The match was designed as a Town Foundation awareness fixture. As such, bucket collectors were stationed around the ground, staff were interviewed in hospitality and pitch side and the Club’s match day programme featured information about the charity’s community work.

The squad also wore special t-shirts bearing the Foundation logo and the Foundation’s text donate details  – Text HTF to 70331 to donate £3.

If there is a bid on a particular lot in the last 15 minutes of the auction, the timer will reset back to 15 minutes and will continue to do so after every bid until there is no further interest.

Each shirt will come with a certificate of authenticity and will be shipped free of charge. There is also the option to choose from a number of framing options, should you wish.
