The Huddersfield Town Foundation is delighted to confirm details of its October half term provision, which this year runs between Monday 24 and Friday 28 October.
Staff will run two separate five-day football camps for children aged between five and 11; one at Leeds Road Sports Complex in Huddersfield and the other at St John Fisher Academy in Dewsbury.
A two-day multi-sports camp for young people aged between eight and 18 with a disability and/or special educational needs will also take place.
Tickets for all three will go on sale via Eventbrite at 9am on Friday 30 September 2022. Demand is expected to be high, so please book early to avoid disappointment.
Football camps
Each day will start at 9.30am and focus on a different theme, including but not limited to passing, dribbling, shooting and crossing and defending.
A half hour lunch break is scheduled in with the day finishing at 3pm. Children can be dropped off from 9.15am.
The final day will include matches, tournaments and penalty shoot outs and end with a presentation ceremony. Each child in attendance will receive a medal and certificate and there are a range of prizes to compete for.
Priced at just £60 per child for five days of action, these camps provide excellent value for FA and UEFA qualified coaching.

Multi-sport, pan-disability camp
Thanks to funding from Kirklees Council, Foundation staff will once again be running this exciting initiative.
Children within the specified age bracket, 8-18, are welcome to attend and shape the delivery across the two days. There will be an element of football, but other activities like cricket, dodgeball, school games etc are also on offer.
The booking form asks you to outline your child(ren)’s needs – this just enables us to plan effectively and ensure that delivery is inclusive of all.
Each day starts at 10am and finishes at 2pm, with drop-off from 9.45am. Participants will all receive a certificate and medal.

All Town Foundation coaches are FA qualified, child safeguarding and emergency first aid certified and enhanced DBS checked.
