18 May APPLICATIONS OPEN TO REPRESENT THE FOUNDATION AT AJ BELL GREAT NORTH RUN!

Huddersfield Town Foundation is welcoming applications from individuals who have the desire to complete the AJ Bell Great North Run on Sunday 10 September 2023, running on behalf of the charity and helping us raise funds to continue our much-needed work across Kirklees.

Known for its electric atmosphere and unbeatable on-route entertainment, those running on behalf of the Foundation will raise money for our projects, which include our Breakfast Clubs which have served over 2.2 million meals since its inception.

To make the occasion even more special, legendary British athlete Sir Mo Farah has announced that this race will be his last ever as a professional athlete, meaning runners have an exciting opportunity to celebrate his incredible career.

The Foundation will operate a ballot for places with those successful being required to fundraise a minimum of £500 in donations to raise money for the Foundation. Those running will have the honour of wearing branded running vests to promote the charity alongside the 60,000 others in attendance.

Training plans and sponsorship and fundraising guides will all be provided alongside assistance to set up online fundraising platforms and the Foundation will help promote each runner’s story across our social media platforms.
