28 Nov HELP US TURN KIRKLEES BLUE AND WHITE THIS JANUARY ON WEAR BLUE AND WHITE DAY
The Foundation invites you to help turn Kirklees the colours of Huddersfield Town on Friday 26 January to raise money for our Breakfast Clubs on the newly named Wear Blue and White Day!
Our annual event returns for 2024 and we aim to make this year the best one yet by getting everyone in the area to participate.
No matter the idea, big or small, you can contribute and raise money for the Foundation’s Breakfast Clubs and give the children, who need it the most, the best possible start to a day of learning.
Your direct support is vital, as the Breakfast Clubs delivery costs around £140,000 per year to run, meaning your donations go a long way. By supporting the cause, you can feel assured knowing that your creativity and generosity has helped someone in need. To date the Foundation have served two-and-a-half million breakfasts and now on a mission to double this and reach five million.
So how can you get involved with Wear Blue and White Day? Well, it’s simple all you need to do is do an activity associated with blue and white and donate to our cause!
However, we know that you can do better than just that! Here are some suggestions to help us on our mission:
- Host a blue and white-themed bake sale and donate the profits
- Donate a percentage of blue and white products sold in your shop
- Wear odds socks: one blue sock and the other being a white one
- Complete a sponsored activity in blue and white, i.e., run, cycle or a challenge
- Have a blue-and-white non-uniform day at your school
- Paint your face blue and white
Whatever your suggestion, the whackier the better, as long as it involves the famous colours of Huddersfield Town and donations, you can get involved.
It’s a great way to get your business, school, friends, and family involved in some fun, whilst raising some much-needed funds.
If you are taking part, we encourage supporters to share your activities and photos on social media using the hashtag #WearBlueandWhiteDay.
In addition, please share your images with us through email to devon.cash@htafcfoundation.com to be featured across our channels.
To register your interest, please get in touch with us via fundraising@htafcfoundation.com to receive a Wear Blue and White Day fundraising pack full of ideas and how to start planning!
You really will be making a difference to the community of Kirklees in our bid to continue our battle against poverty, so help us turn Kirklees blue and white this January!
