Through the Premier League’s Enterprise Challenge Year 8, 9 and 10 students will have the chance to pitch their ideas on ways to make the John Smith’s Stadium more inclusive to a panel including Town’s Chairman Dean Hoyle.

The brief set by Executive Chairman of the Premier League Richard Scudamore challenges students to research Town, the Club’s fanbase and the local community before coming up with more ways to make the John Smith’s Stadium more inclusive to increase the Terriers’ fanbase.

The students’ ideas will need to be in line with the Premier League Equality Standard.

On Thursday 23 November and Thursday 30 November, students from Westborough High School, North Huddersfield Trust School and Shelley College attended Premier League workshops in which they learnt about the brief, came up with ideas, researched their proposal, worked out their finances and how long it would take for an investment from the board to be returned and put together their presentations.

On Tuesday 12 December the students will present their ideas to a panel of judges including Chairman Dean Hoyle, Club Partner Louise Woollard, Kim Leadbeater (More in Common) and Vas Patel (One Kirklees).

The panel will then decide on one school entry to represent Town in the Play-Offs at Leicester City’s King Power Stadium on Tuesday 16 January 2017.
