Vacancy: Huddersfield Town Foundation Chief Executive Officer

A rare, exciting opportunity has arisen for a suitably experienced and qualified candidate to join the Huddersfield Town Foundation in the role of Chief Executive Officer.

The overall aim of the Huddersfield Town Foundation is to help improve the quality of life for young people and adults across Huddersfield and the West Yorkshire area; the role of Chief Executive Officer is therefore one in which you can truly make a difference to the lives of many people, particularly those most in need of support.

This is a crucial role in our structure and one in which you must be prepared to work at a fast pace, as the Foundation continues to grow, develop and create more opportunities for the people we serve.

Candidates must have previous, proven experience as a Managing Director/CEO or similar, ideally in the charity sector, combined with a genuine interest in the aims of the Foundation and the needs of our community. 

Previous experience within a football environment would also be particularly advantageous, as the successful applicant will need to assimilate and demonstrate results quickly. 

You will be responsible for leading and developing a talented team, maintaining their interest and motivation and providing them with opportunities for personal and professional growth. 

Previous experience of successfully leading team is also a significant requirement for this role.

Applicants must be commercially astute with the ability to manage a delegated budget, as well as the ability to write funding bids and maximise funding opportunities. Therefore, candidates must have a good standard of general education and experience of financial management to be able to perform well in this role.

Safeguarding
