VACANCIES: WE’RE RECRUITING A HEALTH MANAGER AND PL KICKS MANAGER!

The Huddersfield Town Foundation is looking to expand its skilled team of staff, with two new vacancies that might be of interest to you!

An exciting opportunity as arisen to take on the role of Health Manager, in which the successful applicant can truly make a difference to the lives of people in Kirklees and the surrounding area.

The Health Manager will develop and deliver a range of health-related educational programmes, including in relation to weight management, healthy lifestyles, and mental health, ensuring an inclusive offer for adults, young people and families.

Candidates must have comprehensive knowledge of best practice in the field of health and wellbeing, including healthy eating, physical activity and healthy lifestyles.

Previous experience of promoting health and/or physical activity programmes, and the ability to influence others to make improved behavioural and lifestyle choices are also essential to be successful in this role.

Salary banding £20,000 – £25,000 per annum depending on experience

35 hours+ per week

Fixed-term for two years in the first instance

We are also looking to recruit a PL Kicks Manager, with the successful applicant contributing to a flagship targeted project aiming to help hard-to-reach young people.

The Premier League Kicks Manager will be integral to the successful delivery and growth of the Kicks programme across Kirklees, leading a dedicated team of delivery staff, and engaging with young people in sports sessions, educational workshops and other programmes in the local community.

Candidates must have experience of community sports project development and the ability to lead and coordinate a team, to achieve project aims and outcomes.

You must be experienced and confident in delivering educational workshops to young people and have a proven track record of working with young people in hard-to-reach groups.

Salary banding £20,000 – £25,000 per annum depending on experience

35 hours+ per week
