02 Jul JOIN US FOR FREE TOMORROW’S TERRIERS SESSIONS IN JULY
The Huddersfield Town Foundation has recently relaunched its Tomorrow’s Terriers programme with a block of sessions that are free to attend!
With sessions for 5-8 and 9-12 year olds, the programme aims to develop participants as people as well as footballers.
The programme is open to all children in those age brackets but will particularly benefit ambitious grassroots footballers with high quality coaching from FA/UEFA qualified coaches.
Foundation staff use the FA’s four corner model, which suggests that player development should be looked at from a technical, physical, psychological and social point of view.
Children can expect to take part in a wide range of drills and activities, as well as putting what they’ve learnt to the test in small-sided matches.
Sessions take place at Leeds Road Sports Complex, HD2 1YY and Batley Sports and Tennis Centre, WF17 0QD.
Remaining Batley sessions are taking place 9am-10am for the next four Saturdays: 3, 10, 17 and 24 July. To book onto these, please CLICK HERE.
The Leeds Road sessions are 5-6pm every Monday evening for the next three weeks,5, 12 and 19 July. To book onto these, please CLICK HERE.
All Town Foundation coaches are Child Safeguarding and Emergency First Aid certified, as well as being fully DBS checked.
Children should have appropriate footwear, equipment and clothing for 4G pitches, including shinpads and a drink.
