21 Jul AN EVENING WITH EOIN HAND EVENT SET FOR SEPTEMBER!
Supporters can enjoy an evening with former Huddersfield Town Manager Eoin Hand on Friday 16 September 2022!
Taking place at the Rose and Crown pub in Slaithwaite, HD7 5XA, tickets cost £35 and include your supper for the evening.
The 76-year-old will discuss his careers as a player and manager, with the Irishman managing Town between 1988 and 1992.
He also took charge of the Republic of Ireland national team and had a 20-year playing career, so has plenty to talk about!
The night will be compered by Peter Kenyon with further entertainment provided by comedian Danny Waters.
During the event there will be a raffle with prizes including football shirts and signed memorabilia. The money raised from all items donated by HTAFC will be given back to the Town Foundation.

Looking forward to the event, Eoin commented:
“I had many happy times in Huddersfield and one of my sons still lives there and goes to the matches.
“I enjoyed my time at the club and it’s exciting to think of the new season and see the club challenging for promotion – my very best wishes go to everyone concerned.
“Looking forward to seeing old friends on what I’m sure will be a fantastic night.”
Money raised on the night will be allocated to the Foundation’s unrestricted funding pot, meaning that it can be used to help fund any projects not supported by another funder.
It is likely that much of this will be allocated to our ‘Early Kick-Off’ Breakfast Club programme, which now supports 41 local schools with free meals for their children every day.
Since the Foundation’s launch in 2012, more than two million free meals have now been given away.
