The Foundation aims to create opportunities for children and adults living with a disability.
Thanks to funding from Kirklees Council we are proud to deliver the following sessions:
Every Tuesday, multi-sports for young people aged 8-18 with a disability and/or special educational needs. 6pm – 7pm at Huddersfield Leisure Centre, HD1 4BP.
Every Wednesday, multi-sports for young people aged 8-18 with a disability and/or special educational needs. 5pm – 6pm at Dewsbury Sports Centre, WF12 8EN.
Premier League Kicks, which is funded by the Premier League Charitable Fund, supports young people in achieving their potential and improving their wellbeing through FREE weekly football sessions and educational workshops.
The programme started with four pilot clubs and is now run across 936 venues by 90 Premier League, English Football League and National League sides – all funded by the Premier League.
The Town Foundation’s main Kicks delivery takes place at Leeds Road Sports Complex, with a timetable listed below:
Mondays 6pm – 7pm, boys and girls aged 8-13
Thursdays 5pm – 6pm, children with a disability/special educational needs of all ages
Thursdays 6pm – 7pm, girls aged 14-18
Fridays 7pm – 9pm, boys aged 14-18
We also now run at St John Fisher Academy in Dewsbury on Tuesday evenings:
5pm – 6pm – 8-13 year olds of any gender
6pm – 7pm – 14-18 year olds of any gender
